A space to understand yourself better

You don’t need to be in crisis to seek therapy. Sometimes you’re overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, or simply know that something needs to change. Individual therapy gives you a private, supportive space to understand what you’re experiencing and find a way forward.

you might be here because
Something has been weighing on you
Sometimes you know exactly what’s wrong. Other times, it’s simply a feeling that you’re not quite yourself.
  1. Anxiety & Overthinking
Your mind rarely switches off. You worry about what might happen, replay conversations, or find it difficult to relax.
  2. Stress & Burnout
Work, family and responsibilities have become exhausting, and you feel like you’re constantly running on empty.
  3. Low Mood & Depression
Things that once mattered feel harder to enjoy. You may feel disconnected, unmotivated or unsure how to move forward.
  4. Relationships
You’re struggling with a partner, family member, friend or colleague — or noticing the same relationship patterns repeating.
  5. Grief & Loss
You’re dealing with the loss of someone, a relationship, a role or a chapter of your life and finding your way through what comes next.
  6. Life Transitions
A new job, marriage, parenthood, separation, relocation or other change has left you trying to find your footing.
  7. Self-esteem & Confidence
You’re hard on yourself, question your decisions or feel that you’re never quite good enough.
  8. Simply Feeling Stuck
Nothing is obviously wrong, but something doesn’t feel right. You want to understand yourself better and make changes that feel meaningful.

You don't need to have it all figured out
You don’t need the right words or even a clear explanation for how you’re feeling. Therapy is a place to slow things down, make sense of what’s happening and explore thoughts and feelings that can be difficult to untangle on your own.
You bring what you're experiencing.
Together, we work towards understanding it.
Questions you may have
Starting therapy can feel unfamiliar, particularly if you've never spoken to a therapist before. Here are some of the questions people often have.
How do I know if I need therapy?

There isn't a threshold you need to cross. If something is affecting your wellbeing, relationships or everyday life — or you'd simply like to understand yourself better — therapy may be worth exploring.

What if I don't know what to talk about?

That's completely fine. You don't need to arrive with a prepared story or know where to begin. Your therapist can help you explore what feels important.

Is everything I say confidential?

Therapy is confidential, with limited exceptions relating to safety and legal or professional obligations. Your therapist will explain confidentiality clearly when you begin.

How long will I need therapy?

There's no predetermined number of sessions. Some people come with a specific issue they want to work through, while others find longer-term therapy more helpful.

Will my therapist tell me what to do?

Usually, therapy isn't about giving instructions or making decisions for you. Your therapist helps you understand your situation, consider different perspectives and make choices that feel right for you.

What if therapy feels uncomfortable?

Talking about difficult experiences and emotions can sometimes feel uncomfortable. You can tell your therapist when something feels difficult, and the work should move at a pace you can manage.

Can I stop therapy whenever I want?

Yes. Therapy is your choice. Ideally, ending therapy is something you and your therapist can discuss together so you can reflect on the work you've done.
